Illustrations
As a formally trained architect, I developed a strong foundation in drawing and composition. My illustration work spans ink, watercolor, color pencil, and digital media, including Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Procreate. I enjoy blending hand-drawn warmth with digital precision to create engaging, imaginative visuals—especially for children’s stories. Below are selected samples of my work.

Alligator, Alligator!
This was my first board book style illustration project. I worked with writer, Katherine Woodward, to create a cute alligator character who would teach kids various body parts and senses.

The Legend
of Sutro Tower
An origin story of the iconic Sutro Tower in San Francisco, mixes history with a bit of fantasy and horror for young readers. I chose a bold graphic style paired with a red, white, and black palette to heighten the drama and tension between the witch and the pirate. They also happen to be the colors of The Sutro Tower.

The Funny Green Fish
Rendered using pencil, watercolor, and digital methods, the world of the Funny Green Fish was intended to feel soft, playful, and approachable. Todd's round, cute design creates a welcoming vibe that instantly resonates with young readers and invites them into the story.

The Four Gods
In a world shaped by gods and boundless wonder, four elemental deities—Shui, goddess of Water; Ignis, god of Fire; Terra, goddess of Earth; and Vayu, god of Air—find themselves locked in a rivalry to prove their worth. When Ithar, the god of the Heavens, challenges them to discover life’s true purpose, they embark on individual journeys through oceans, skies, and the heart of the earth. Yet, their answers lie not in solitary quests but in their shared struggles, triumphs, and unity. This is a story about teamwork and overcoming differences.

The Great Race:
The Legend of the
Chinese Zodiac
This story recounts the origins of the Chinese zodiac. The Jade Emperor called for a great race among his animal subjects to determine who would fulfill the guard duties for the Heavenly Gates. Each animal displayed unique skills to cross the river and finish the race. Their journeys reflect each animal’s unique characteristics, and secured their positions in the zodiac.
